Set up a machine from the mobile app

Machine setup links a physical Greenwald Pay device discovered by Bluetooth with the matching machine already defined in GMS.

Walkthrough
- Open Admin, then Setup.
- Choose the correct account and location.
- Review machines supplied by GMS and nearby devices discovered over Bluetooth.
- Select the nearby device. Confirm the intended physical device identifies itself as shown by the app.
- Match that device to the machine label shown in the room.
- Review the Bluetooth address and firmware information.
- Select Update setup.
- Keep the phone near the device until progress completes.
- Confirm the physical machine now matches its name, pricing, cycles, and operating settings.
Important: Verify account, location, machine label, and physical device before setup. A wrong match can send pricing or cycle settings to the wrong machine.
Where configuration comes from
Machine definitions and profiles come from GMS. Setup associates the discovered Bluetooth address with the selected machine and sends its assigned configuration to the device.

Choose an account and location in Admin Setup. GMS supplies the configured machine list, while nearby devices advertise over Bluetooth. Select the physical device, identify it in the room, and pair it with the matching machine label. Setup records the Bluetooth address and sends the machine’s assigned pricing, cycle, and operation configuration.
