Update machine firmware from the mobile app

Disclaimer: Navigation, labels, and available products may differ in newer versions.

Authorized administrators can send approved firmware to one or more configured Greenwald Pay devices in a room.

Walkthrough

1. Open Admin, then Firmware.
2. Choose the correct account and location if prompted.
3. Review configured devices and their current firmware information.
4. Select one device, or use Select all only when every listed device should be updated.
5. Select Update firmware.
6. Keep the phone near the selected devices and maintain network and Bluetooth connectivity.
7. Wait for the progress indicator to complete.
8. Confirm each selected device reports a successful update before leaving the room.

Do not interrupt an update: Keep the app open, stay within Bluetooth range, and leave the machine powered on until the update finishes.

If an update does not complete

• Keep the machine powered.
• Check phone network and Bluetooth connectivity.
• Retry only after the app reports the previous attempt ended.
• Contact authorized support when device state is unclear.
