Use Machine Settings, Pricing Settings, and Operation Settings profiles to apply the same settings to multiple machines.

Why profiles exist
Create reusable profiles once, then associate them with compatible machines. This avoids entering same settings for every machine and allows coordinated changes after configuration is pushed to devices.
Shared profile warning: Changing a shared profile may affect many machines across multiple locations after next setup push. Identify every assignment before editing.
Walkthrough
- At System level, open gPay Profiles.
- Select profile category: Machine Settings, Pricing Settings, or Operation Settings.
- Create or open a profile.
- Enter clear profile name and optional free-form notes.
- Choose compatible machine type.
- Configure category-specific fields.
- Save, then associate profile with intended machines during room configuration.
- Save the profile and confirm settings reach the intended devices.
Profile types
| Type | Recording demonstrates | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| Machine Settings | Default cycle temperatures, cycle times, audio settings, and other machine parameters. Defaults may be adjusted. | Wrong machine type or parameter can change physical machine behavior. |
| Pricing Settings | Top-offs, cycle-based pricing, cycle prices, special cycles, and loyalty-related settings. | Shared pricing changes can affect many venues. |
| Operation Settings | Operational fields and special-pricing schedule that maps time periods to regular or special pricing. | Some fields may not appear in your version of GMS. |
Special pricing
Use an Operation profile to schedule regular or special pricing for selected times.
Check your changes
- Confirm machine type and firmware compatibility.
- List every machine/location using profile.
- Review price and schedule changes before applying them.
- Test on a limited set of machines before broad assignment.
- Confirm setup reached intended devices.
